About this game

Hi, we’re Rescue Party, a small indie dev studio. Greed & Darkness is our debut game, and it’s our love letter to classic board games and dungeon crawlers but with a modern twist. We hope you like it!

Mind your surroundings! Keep an ear out for strange noises, and be on the lookout for signs that you’re walking into a trap. Spatial audio allows you to hear the direction of monsters or special items in nearby rooms.

Darkness is just as dangerous as it is useful. Light your torch to reveal hidden paths, spot lurking dangers and navigate the fortress. Extinguish it to sneak past enemies unseen, but choose your moments carefully….in Gorge Fortress, light can save your life just as easily as it can betray you.

The vast, winding tunnels are riddled with puzzles and clues, beckoning you to explore further and further. Experience a fresh take on the classic dungeon crawler. Explore a cursed fortress where every animation is hand-drawn and completely 2D.

The deeper you venture, the more the fortress reveals and the more dangerous it becomes. Solve cryptic puzzles, uncover hidden chambers and piece together the mystery of the ancient ruins. But tread lightly, the halls of Gorge Fortress are crawling with minions of the dungeon’s sleeping master. Wake the Gorged One, and escaping with your treasure may no longer be an option.
