Step into an ancient forest through the eyes of a tiny gnome. Every tall pine, mossy hill and damp rock is a climb, and every climb is a challenge of its own. Stumble across scattered gnome dwellings, delve into mossy caverns and explore carefully curated biomes teeming with life.
The pressure to survive drives you forward, opening up new possibilities and discoveries as the Dark Forest reveals itself as a living world of mystery, wonder and danger. Cold, hunger and hidden threats push you to adapt. Gather blueberries and twigs, craft everything from arrows to musical instruments. This is a wilderness not just meant to be explored, but a place to understand and ultimately call home.
The Väsen: Trolls, faeries, sirens and other mythical beings also call the Dark Forest home, each one handcrafted and drawn from the World of Trollheim. Some will wander over and join you by the campfire. Some will attack on sight. Calm their nerves or offer them something in return, and they might even come and live with you.
Let creativity shape your dwelling, wherever feels like home. Build idyllic housing in the treetops, within hollowed logs, tucked into rock crevices or by the mist-filled forest lakes. Add bridges, clad your walls in moss and set some low lighting, whether you're blending into nature or standing out as uniquely yours.
