Objective
Steam Next Fest represented one of Arkheron's biggest opportunities yet to introduce the game to a wider audience. Bonfire Studios was opening the demo globally for the festival, giving anyone the opportunity to experience its team-based PvP gameplay for themselves.
The goal was to build awareness around the demo throughout Next Fest and drive more players to discover and try Arkheron.
Strategy
Creator content didn't focus exclusively on explaining Arkheron's gameplay. Many creators used the story behind Bonfire Studios and its mission with Arkheron as an entry point, giving audiences additional context for why the game was worth paying attention to.
From there, creators showcased Arkheron's fast-paced PvP, unusual item-based progression, and competitive gameplay, while directing audiences toward a demo they could immediately try for themselves.
The combination gave creators multiple ways to introduce an unfamiliar game: through the people and ambition behind it, or through the gameplay itself.

That attention surrounded Arkheron during one of its biggest public playtests to date. The demo ultimately finished as the #13 most-played demo across the entire February Steam Next Fest 2026, placing Arkheron firmly within Steam's official Top 50.
Following the festival, Bonfire described players beginning to theorycraft builds, discuss item synergies, and form the early signs of a competitive meta around the game.
For Arkheron, the campaign introduced millions of viewers not only to a new PvP game, but to the studio and ambition behind it, while supporting one of the most-played demos of the festival.
