About this game

Ballistic.exe is an advanced weapon simulator featuring true-to-life aiming mechanics, complete weapon manipulation and customization, and highly accurate ballistic calculations.

Mysterious origins

This program was recovered from the archives of MK Lab VI, a Soviet-era research task force focused on Infantry Unit Preparation and Augmentation, Advanced Simulations, and Psychological Training. Its intended purpose remains unclear, but the declassification bureau has rated it GPCA (General Public, Caution Advised), making it accessible to all.

Key features

Game media

Use both the mouse and the WASD keys to aim your weapon on two axes, making each shot a true challenge.

Game media

Every component of every weapon is fully simulated and manipulable: manually insert each bullet, work the bolt, and adjust windage and elevation on both iron sights and scopes.

Game media

Choose from dozens to hundreds of parts for each weapon, including stocks, triggers, grips, sights, scopes, handles, bolts, barrels, hammers, cylinders, red dots, lasers, silencers, and more. Each part influences the weapon's balance, weight, and ergonomics, or significantly impacts its capabilities.

Game media

Bullet velocity is calculated based on cartridge charge mass, barrel length, and bullet profile. Bullets are affected by gravity, wind, coriolis force, air humidity and temperature, rain, and can tumble when slowing below the sound barrier. Bullets can ricochet or shatter on impact, with each shard computed individually. The flight of bullets is affected by their shape, size, material, and spin. Many different cartridge types are available for each weapon.

Recoil is completely procedural and considers the stock, grips, hand placement, and cartridge energy to simulate an accurate recoil pattern.

Game media

Uncover the hidden secrets of Ballistic.exe, explore concealed areas, and break the game to decipher its true message.
