As the last survivor of your clan, you send your few remaining samurai onto the battlefields of the warring states in search of revenge. You fight not only to win, but to learn. Every battle, every death, every lord defeated yields another clue about the enemy you hunt. Knowledge will come at the edge of your blade.

KNOW YOUR ENEMY

Your suspects are the real power-players of the age: Oda Nobunaga, Takeda Shingen, Uesugi Kenshin and more. Each has their own traits, temperament and background, derived from the historical record. Come to understand these men and the witch will not be able to stay hidden. To know the truth is to know vengeance.

RETRIBUTION KNOWS NO BOUNDARY

Your warriors will fall and your battles lost, but time is no barrier to vengeance. Accuse the wrong lord and history resets: the board rearranged, the war begun anew. Everything reverts but you. Every clue you have claimed you keep, carried into the next attempt, and the next, until the truth is plain. Time forgets. You do not.

During your journey you will collect the arsenal of the age and its legends: katana, spear, club, bow, rifle and more. Each has several strikes, derived from the weapon’s school of training, to ensure you always cut with accuracy as well as style.

Make each samurai your own by customizing their armor types, patterns and colours, with trillions of combinations. Fight for new pieces as your journey unfolds and keep your finest sets on display in the armor room. Create outfits that will turn your enemy’s head before you sever it.
